Hive Parking – Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Hive Parking. By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you may not use Hive Parking.
1. Introduction
Hive Parking is a community platform that connects property owners (“Hosts”) who want to rent out parking spaces with individuals (“Renters”) who need parking. Hive Parking is not a party to any transaction, does not handle payments, and does not guarantee the accuracy of listings. All agreements, payments, and inspections are conducted directly between Hosts and Renters.
2. User Accounts
– You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
– You are responsible for maintaining your account information and for all activity under your account.
– Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination.
3. Listings
– Hosts must provide accurate details and confirm they have the legal right to rent out their driveway or parking space.
– Hive Parking reviews listings before publishing but does not guarantee accuracy or ownership.
– Proof of identification (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill) may be requested, but due diligence is the responsibility of Hosts and Renters.
4. Transactions & Payments
– Hive Parking does not process payments. Hosts and Renters are responsible for negotiating terms, meeting in person, and handling payment directly.
– Renters are encouraged to inspect the space before completing payment.
– Hive Parking is not liable for disputes regarding payments, refunds, or agreements.
5. User Conduct
– Users agree to act respectfully, lawfully, and in good faith.
– Fraud, scams, or illegal activities (such as subletting without permission or listing spaces you don’t own) will result in permanent suspension.
– Problems should first be addressed directly between the Host and Renter. Serious concerns may be reported to Hive Parking support.
6. Liability
Hive Parking is not liable for:
– Property damage, vehicle damage, theft, or loss.
– Accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions on listed properties.
– False or misleading listings.
– Disputes over payments, access, overstays, or misuse of spaces.
– Legal or regulatory issues (zoning, HOA restrictions, fines).
All Hosts and Renters use Hive Parking at their own risk and are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before finalizing an arrangement.
7. Dispute Resolution
– Hive Parking is not responsible for resolving disputes.
– Hosts and Renters are expected to work out disagreements directly.
– Hive Parking may, at its discretion, suspend accounts involved in fraudulent or repeated complaints.
8. Privacy & Data
– Hive Parking may collect identification, photos, or listing details for trust and verification purposes.
– Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
– Hive Parking is not liable for unauthorized access or data breaches.
9. Termination of Service
Hive Parking may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in misconduct.
