Hive Parking – Policies

Welcome to Hive Parking Policies.
At Hive Parking, we prioritize safety, transparency, and satisfaction for both Hosts and Renters.
Our platform connects people but does not handle payments, guarantee listings, or enforce agreements.
All transactions are conducted directly between Hosts and Renters. Hive Parking is not liable for damages, disputes, or outcomes of any arrangement.

1. Safety

Hive Parking provides guidelines and resources to help users make informed decisions about renting or hosting parking spaces.
Hosts and Renters are encouraged to verify details such as location, accessibility, and condition of parking spaces before exchanging payment.
Always meet in person, inspect the space, and finalize payment only after confirming it works for you.

For enhanced safety, Hive Parking:
– Encourages users to share accurate vehicle and space details.
– Requires Hosts to upload truthful descriptions and photos when listing spaces.
– May request identification from Hosts or Renters during the listing process.

2. Host and Renter Responsibilities

Hosts:
– Accurate Listings: Provide truthful, complete descriptions of parking spaces, including size, availability, and restrictions.
– Safe Space: Keep spaces free from hazards such as potholes, debris, or obstructions.

Renters:
– Park Properly: Use only the designated area, without blocking driveways, garages, or neighbors.
– Vehicle Condition: Ensure vehicles do not cause hazards (e.g., leaks, unsafe loads).
– Good Faith Use: Spaces are for parking only — no repairs, dumping, or storage of belongings.

Prohibited Activities:
– Parking stolen, unregistered, or uninsured vehicles.
– Storing or transporting hazardous materials in parked vehicles.
– Misusing the space for non-parking purposes.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of accounts and may be reported to authorities.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

Hive Parking is committed to safeguarding user information:
– Data Collection: We may collect basic user details (e.g., name, contact info, optional identification).
– Data Usage: Information is used to support trust, verify listings, and improve the platform. Hive Parking does not sell personal data.
– Data Security: Reasonable security practices are in place, but Hive Parking is not liable for breaches or unauthorized access.
– User Control: Users may update or delete their information through account settings.

Hive Parking reviews reports and may suspend or remove accounts involved in violations.
However, responsibility for resolving issues lies with Hosts and Renters directly.

5. Payments and Refunds
